JOB DESCRIPTION

Our company is looking for an experienced CNC Operator who can run a variety of CNC machines, especially, a beam line (Peddinghaus experience preferred) and help to enhance the productivity of our organization.

Candidates should possess the following skills:
-Have a strong understanding in blueprint reading/ geometric tolerance interpretation
-Have knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on
various machines.
-Have technical skills, good judgment, and pay attention to details
-Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
-Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing for demands and is able to deal with
frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
-Must possess basic math skills, including but not limited to, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division,
geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating and checking material fabrication.

Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for operation, loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring,
and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.

-Review and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications, to determine dimensions and tolerances
of finished product, the sequence of operations and set up requirements.
-Operate machines in accordance with safety protocols
-Ensure production rates are met or exceeded.
-Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure the quality of productions. Reports all machine malfunctions to supervisors.
-Communicate with general manager, supervisors, production, quality control, and other shop
personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
-Suggest and implement improvements.
-Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
